I do not know about Acid/Heartburn relation to a heart murmur! ( I have one) but you might check a few things!!Gallbladder and or food allergies! Do you notice an increase of heartburn after eating certain foods?? Perhaps wheat?? Milk??Any way if you have a heart murmur you might want to get screened for Mitral Valve Prolapse! Thats what I ended up having! Before I have an episode I get fatigued, kinda week and dizzy ( just a little) I can usually tell when it is coming! I cannot drink caffeine or any stimulate types of drinks, as it can contribute!here is more about Mitral Valve Prolapse!Mitral valve prolapse (also known as click murmur syndrome and Barlows syndrome) is the most common heart valve abnormality, affecting five to ten percent of the world population! A normal mitral valve consists of two thin leaflets, located between the left atrium and the left ventricle of the heart! Mitral valve leaflets, shaped like parachutes, are attached to the inner wall of the left ventricle by a series of strings called chordae! When the ventricles contract, the mitral valve leaflets close snugly and prevent the backflow of blood from the left ventricle into the left atrium! When the ventricles relax, the valves open to allow oxygenated blood from the lungs to fill the left ventricle!
Symptoms for acid reflux: Feeling nauseated Feeling soar in the middle of your chest just above your stomach Getting dizzy waking up in the middle of the night
