How long can etg be detected in your urine?

The presence of EtG in the urine, on the other hand, demonstrates that ethanol alcohol was ingested within the past three or four days, or roughly 80 hours after the ethanol alcohol has been metabolized by the body! ! Any Suggestions here?

The ‘80 h Ethyl Glucuronide (EtG) test’ has become an idiom of the alcohol testing community, a review of the literature shows this window of detection applies only to extreme cases. EtG testing is becoming more common as a method to test for alcohol consumption in individuals who have been ordered to abstain from alcohol consumption. We tested 19 subjects using commercially available EtG kits. All urine samples collected more than 26 h after drinking had false negative results.

Look up ETG sensitivity and read article from Oxford Journal – I wouldn’t cut it that close – but if you exercise a little, are in decent shape and heathy …hydrate yourself, it would be unusual to get a positive ETG test after 40-48 hours

Please rest assured and stop worrying, you are going to be just fine I can promise you!First of all I work in a drug/alcohol rehab unit where we carry out ransom tests on clients on a daily basis!First of all drug and alcohol tests are completely separate tests, so a drug test wouldnt show up any alcohol and vice versa, so if it was just a drug test you can forget about it!If they were looking for alcohol, as I said it would be a separate test, the alcohol in a couple of margaritas would be out of your system in a matter of hours and the normal alcohol test wouldnt show it, in the unlikely event they did an EtG test, its hardly likely they would find a trace of any alcohol, its considered very unreliable because it could pick up alcohol from things like hair spray to mouthwash, absolutely negligible!Best of luck with your job and sleap soundly!
