If you take more then 2 in a two hour period it is considered an overdose, but it would take more then that to hurt you! Any Suggestions here?

Benadryl is addictive and a drug that is abused fairly often! From what youre saying it does indeed sound like addictive behavior! You need to understand that addiction can take over your life and that its pretty damn hard to stop!I saw a study once a while back on rats, they were put in a cage and given water from one side and perhaps food on the other, they also electrified the middle of the cage, once this was turned on the rat simply would prefer to die than run across it to get the water! When alcohol was added to the water it actually did take that run, it took the shock!People will go through a hell of a lot to get that fix, this can include screwing up the family! It certainly sounds like the psychologist isnt working, Id try to talk to the doc about her seeing a specialist, probably a psychiatrist and spend some time at a rehab center! The smoking can come later! Ive learned that trying to come off of several drugs (yes, including caffeine) only increases the rate of overall failure, though thats just me I guess! Having some kind of crutch can help a bit while other things get sorted out, get the smoking later! If she has problems with breathing you may want to explore the possibility of emphysema, a pretty nasty disease of the lungs which will decrease lung function over time which can not be repaired and if not lead to death will perhaps lead to having to cart about an oxygen tank for 20+ hours out of the day etc!!!BTW – Addiction to these drugs is indeed classed as a psychiatric issue so youre in the right place!
