We have a child with Aspergers Syndrome-Can anyone help us find websites? My wife and I as for treatment of Aspergers children parents of an autistic child just want to leave
Its not possible to get rid of Aspergers! There is no known cure for it and its not something people can just snap out of or grow out of with time! Your friend will always have it!If you dont like his stories you can ask him to not tell them to you! It may be hard for him if those stories are his latest obsession, but just remind him to change the subject if he accidentally starts talking about the MMs!Since hes your best friend, I assume he does have qualities that you like a lot! Try to concentrate on what you like about him rather than what annoys you! That can help too!
Asperger's is within the Autism spectrum. You can't "cure" or get rid of it but you can learn to do things that will help you maintain the lifestyle you would like.
