My fingernails are very thin and brittle and I have a really hard time growing them out to any length, even if I use the ‘paint on’ nail hardeners. Is there something I can take, such as a certain vitamin, that will give me healthier, stronger, more attractive nails?

I have a gold necklace, well, supposedly it is. I don’t know that much about gold, but I found it weird that I could make dents in the links with my fingernail, and that it seemed soft enough for me to bend. Is that right?

I recently started letting my fingernails grow after being a nail biter for years, but they seem brittle. Any way I can improve them, hopefully economically/homemade remedies?
