Blood blisters are regular blisters that are filled with blood rather then the clear puss and liquid they are generally. The blood usually comes into the blister because it is pinched. Source:http://answers.ask.com/Health/Diseases/what_causes_blood_blisters

Hello there!First off how much acidic foods/liquids do you ingest?? i!e oranges, orange juice, tomatoes, apples, etc! sometimes eating acidic foods repeatedly can cause such blisters! Ive gotten them before from eating too many tomatoes! It could simply be a canker sore! Try rinsing your mouth with warm salt water! If it does not go away I would consult your doctor! If you are sexually active it could be something related to that! i!e oral herpes, warts, thrush!Good Luck hun!
