How long can you keep a tampon in?

Ideally, you should change a tampon every four to six hours! Risk of infection increases the longer the tampon is worn! Any Suggestions here?

    It depends if you have A Heavy period or not but I left one in for a whole day without it bothering me. I don’t no if that’s bad or what but that’s my thought
