What causes nose bleed?

Some causes of nosebleeds are certain medicines such as blood thinners, trauma, nose picking, living in dry cold or dry hot environments! Any Suggestions here?

    This has been happening to me too a lot this past winter, i went to the doctor because they were happening everyday at least twice! he said the nasal passage can be dry and when force like blowing or sneezing or wiping can start them at anytime he had me on SALINE for a while and i had to put vaseline in it for a week and they stopped! the best way to stop a nosebleed is to apply pressure at the bridge of the nose and lean FORWARD not backwards because the blood can rush back into the lungs or even your brain!
