    Those who are criminally insane go to a mental hospital! It is somewhat similar to a prison in that their actions and freedoms are severely restricted! Theyre locked in their rooms, they have limited time out in the general area, etc!Merely having schizophrenia does not constitute being criminally insane! In basic terms, to be considered criminally insane, you would have to have been unable to distinguish between right and wrong! Merely being insane isnt good enough of an excuse! For instance, you have to really believe that your brain is being controlled by space aliens making you do the things you do! And they have ways of finding out if you really are or if youre just faking it!
