I’m 20 years old, so I get drunk like maybe two times a week on average. Whenever I drink, the following morning I get this sharp pain in my kidneys (each side of lower back). Is this normal, my friend says he gets it a lot. Should I be worried? It has happened about two times now.

I’ve had this really bad cough for like 2-3 weeks and about a week ago my right kidney area started hurting with a dull pain. Last night was really bad I woke up at 10:50 and started coughing like crazy for 10 minutes and couldn’t stop.

Is there a reason for this?

In the morning when I first wake up, my lower left side hurts, near my kidney. It hurt’s even more, like unbearable pain when I breathe in. It can last for a minute to hours. This has been happening to me for about two years now. Any opinions?

This past month I [admittedly] have binged in junk food before I go to sleep.
Well, I’m eating right now, but sometimes in the past month [and right now at night, for some reason] it feels like my kidneys are hurting.

Why could this be? I’m drinking plenty of cranberry juice!

I’m a 19 year old male and have to have surgery to unblock one of my kidneys. They said they just make a few tiny holes and not an actual insertion. How much will this hurt after I wake up?

I was just diagnosed with a uti and started antibiotics last night but last night I woke up several times dripping sweat n skaking and my left kidney is hurting. Should I just continue the antibiotics and wait or should I go to the ER? I’m feeling pretty bad and have had kidney infection before.
