Hi I will,People with bipolar disorder have extreme mood swings- they will at times be very happy and elated and act with little or no inhibitions just like someone high on a drug! Thoughts are quick and speech is a mile a minute! This is an episode of mania! At other times -and very often when the mania wears off- they experience severe depression marked by feelings of despair and thoughts of suicide! Hope that sums it up!
