What is cardiovascular exercise?

Some people refer to Cardiovascular exercise as aerobic exercise, some people even call it ‘cardio’ for short! All it amounts!!! Any Suggestions here?

    Sustained, cardiovascular / aerobic exercise means working the legs usually, arms maybe, and heart muscles especially, to pump the blood to provide nutrients and oxygen to those muscles! And the diaphragm and ribs for breathing! All those muscles require energy to work! When the energy requirements go beyond what you have consumed as food for that day, and what you have stored in the liver, the balance is made up by the fat reserves in the cells around your internal organs and under your skin! The fat is chemically broken down and metabolised to provide energy, the waste products being water and CO2! During a weight loss regimen, at rest, you can sometimes even feel the heat being released as fat stores are burned away! (Its not happening at a very high temperature, but burning is a good enough analogy for the chemical breakdown of fat reserves to release energy!)
