If no alcohol is consumed, the symptoms will pass within a week. may feel like they have flu-like symptoms for as long as a month after taking the last drink. Source:http://www.ehow.com/about_5081312_long-alcohol-withdrawal-last.html

Sep 27, 2009 "The typical incubation period for influenza is 1-4 days (average: 2 days). Infected people may be able to pass on the flu to someone else ("shed virus") Some viruses and bacteria can live 2 hours or longer on surfaces like after the fever subsides [while taking no fever reducers] which ever is longer,

Swine flu is spread by sneezing, coughing, spitting….anything really where you are in close contact with the infected person. Also, if they have got germs on a surface or something and then you touch it Source:http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_passes_swine_flu

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) urges people to avoid returning to school or work until influenza has run its complete course. This will help to prevent the spread of the highly contagious influenza virus. Source:http://www.ehow.com/facts_5664738_average-missed-work-because-flu_.html

1! BP meds wouldnt cause gastrointestinal problems, so its unlikely to have been a bad reaction to them2! No offense to your mom, but she knows little about microbiology! Viral load makes you more or less contagious! This business of being most contagious because realizing one is sick is nonsense! The sicker you are, the higher your viral load, the more contagious you become! 3! People around you would not necessarily get sick, depending on immune strength, immunizations and previous bouts with the flu! While it is likely, it isnt a guarantee! 4! The only shedding the body does of the virus is a cough! Breathing could be applied here but thats a normal process! The virus can also be transmitted in body fluids, and it is often found in saliva so dont be drinking from a sick persons glass! 5! The flu is an inconvenience at best! It isnt deadly by any means, especially in the United States! Youll feel terrible for a couple of days, but that will be about all the impact it has on your life! Dont worry so much about being sick! 6! If your brother is able to drive for 6 hours, he is not likely to be sick! Dont worry about it!
