If the only problem she has is cold sores, then the only herpes symptoms she can pass on to you is cold sores, since all you did was kiss! If her mouth had met your downstairs, and she really has HSV2, then its possible that you could get genital herpes – not likely, but possible, since she didnt have sores when you kissed her!HSV 1or2 of the mouth does not appear as a rash! It appears as cold sores, and they dont look like a rash! I think your chances of contracting herpes is miniscule, at worst, especially since you arent even sure she what caused her rash!
