How likely is this? Friend of mine had it happen to him in a hospital in Norway. He woke up without his perfectly OK gallbladder and was told the pseudocyst (which was supposed to be drained and have stents fitted to it) had disappeared. The gallbladder had been so damaged it had to be removed.
