These cannot be spreadBut, the HSV1 virus can be spread to other mucosal membranes such as the nose and eyes! However, this also includes the penis (for males) and vulva (for females) and also the anus! If you touched any of those places, its very possible you gave yourself genital herpes, or HSV2!
