Individuals with Down syndrome have a greatly increased morbidity rate, primarily because of infections involving impaired immune response. The high mortality rate later in life may be the result of premature aging. Source:http://www.chacha.com/question/why-do-kids-with-down-syndrome-die-earlier

Down’s syndrome usually isn’t deadly as such. However, it brings with it a couple of medical problems, like high blood presure and such, which tends to shorten the life span of afflicted persons. Source:http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_people_die_from_Down_syndrome_per_year

Based upon the knowledge that anything created cannot disappearId need a lot of evidence before accepting that even as a hypothesis, as the opposite seems very much to apply in many situations! Most especially patterning and high-level structure can disappear! If this were based on a cruel universe, !!!Try an indifferent one, and see how it fits the observed data!Adding extra dimensions for convenience, or to add more freedom is pretty much a null hypothesis too, unless evidence can be provided to demonstrate them!By the same route of adding entities one might just as easily arrive at The Matrix or eXistenZOr Philip Gosses Omphalos and a universe created with apparent age, which leads to Last Thursdayism! being an equally valid concept! you cant even delete things once it is saved on a computer, it only goes to cyber-space!!!think of that!Something saved (only) on my computer goes where if the hard disk catches fire??: Not to to cyber-space at all! Rather, entropy wins, formatted data is corrupted, information is lost!PS! Im on the autistic spectrum! I like the way it lets me think!

Why do people with Down syndrome die young? Does an extra chromosome cause down syndrome? Down's syndrome usually isn't deadly as such.
