Is there any over the counter medicine for urinary infection?

While OTC medicines: Cystex, AZO & Uristat offer relief from the pain & discomfort of these infections, they don’t cure UTIs! Any Suggestions here?

I wouldn’t bother with over-the-counter products. Go straight to the Doc. More:http://www.chacha.com/question/what-is-good-over-the-counter-medicine-for-a-urinary-track-infection

You can check with your PCP/ObGyn and see if theyll allow you to do a test at home and call in the antibiotics as Azo does sell UTI tests OTC as well but I cant guarantee that theyll do that for you!Edit to add: If its untreated it can go up further into your kidneys and cause a kidney infection which is rather dangerous! Youll know for sure if you start peeing blood!
