Type One skin is characterized as having very white or pale skin, red hair and light eyes (green or blue). Of all skin types, this one is most sensitive to sun. Source:http://www.ehow.com/list_6834355_tanning_-effects-different-skin-types.html

Yes because blue is alot lighter than brown so it will be more affected just like how white people are more likely to get sun damaged than black people because the color is darker and can take more damage

The increased sensitivity to light by blue eyed people is attributed to increased sensitivity in the corneas of these people. Source:http://www.chacha.com/question/why-are-blue-eyes-more-sensitive-to-the-sunlight-that-darker-eyes

Light-colored eyes have less melanin and are probably more susceptible to the harmful effects of the sun, like eye cancer. Source:http://www.chacha.com/question/why-are-blue-and-green-eyes-more-sensitive-to-light-than-brown-eyes

Blue eyes aren’t necessarily more sensitive to light than darker colored eyes but dark eyes do shade the pupil better than light. Source:http://www.chacha.com/question/why-are-people-with-blue-eyes-more-sensitive-to-light

Yes, it has been clinically proven that blue irises scatter and transmit more unwanted light into the retina than brown irises! See the work of TJ van den Burg, a Netherlands physicist specializing in intraocular light scatter!
