What are the beginning signs of skin cancer?

Warning signs of melanoma include a large brownish spot with darker speckles located anywhere on your body, a simple mole MORE?? Any Suggestions here?

    Since I cannot see the things in person, I cannot be a 100% sure! It is very possible it is because of lupus because depending on the type of lupus, skin eruptions are often seen! I would highly recommend you take your mom to see a dermatologist to get it looked at! If the patches are asymmetrical, change in color, have irregular borders, and change in size then it is definitely serious! Also if there is a high rate of skin cancer in your family I would highly recommend wearing sunscreen when you are exposed to the sun! Excessive sun exposure is associated with a high incidence of skin cancer!
