What age do woman usually go through menopause?

The average age of menopause onset is 51! !!! Any Suggestions here?

    Let’s start with definitions. Menopause itself is not a process. It’s a specific time that can only be recognized in retrospect. As in, it’s been a full year and I haven’t had a period or any spotting, tha must have been menopause. Perimeno

    Lets start with definitions!Menopause itself is not a process! Its a specific time that can only be recognized in retrospect! As in, its been a full year and I havent had a period or any spotting, tha must have been menopause!Perimenopause is what too many people refer to as going through menopause! Perimenopause generally begins in your 30s! Thats why fertility rates begin to fall in the 30s! Its a process that can 15 – 20 years, sometimes even longer!Any doctor can order blood tests to check your reproductive hormone levels! The closer you get to menopause itself, the higher your levels of FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) will be! Thats because it keeps trying to stimulate one of your ovaries to release a mature ova, and your ovaries simply are not longer doing so on a routine basis!
