Why do women have period pains when their pregnant?

Abdominal cramping and bleeding known as implantation bleeding happen when the fertilized egg attaches to the lining of the uterus Any Suggestions here?

It can happen!!! because that week is when hormone levels are the highest! There is probably nothing wrong with her, but she shouldnt have to deal with that much pain!Has she tried Midol, etc??
